My grandfathers…

My essays in Eternally Owned Is But What Is Lost are based on snapshots from my great-grandparents’, my maternal and paternal grandparents’, my aunts’ and uncles’ lives. People who shaped me into who I am – for better or worse.

I do not want to judge who had the biggest impact, but I cannot ignore the fact that I had two very strong-willed grandfathers. Two men who had that special ability to “own the room” – for better or worse.

Because this essay collection probably never will be published I would like to present both of them here for one more – last – time. They were here, they had their time on earth and they really truly lived.
With this “goodbye” I will hopefully finally be able to close and put a full stop to these stories – the first of which were finished already in 2012.

Now I hope to be able to go on and really concentrate on another story, a novel, that I have been working on for some years now but which I have left and surrendered so many times. But the two women in that novel have the right to be heard and now it is their moment to come to life.

But first, ladies and gentlemen, for a final time please welcome to the stage – The American Explorer and The Tenor…

Videos should appear her but they cannot be uploaded on my WordPress-plan. For now you can find them here.
